13 Hours: The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi, the bestseller by author and speaker Mitchell Zuckoff based on the true events of September 11, is set to become a major motion picture directed by Michael Bay.
This week, the official title and release date of the film were announced; it will hit theaters January 15, 2016, and will be called 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The film will star John Krasinski, Pablo Schreiber, and Max Martini.
Mitchell Zuckoff is also the author of Lost in Shangri-La: A True Story of Survival, Adventure, & The Most Incredible Rescue Mission of WWII, another NYT bestseller. When he is not writing, he can be found teaching Journalism at Boston University.
