David Treuer a 2016 Minnesota Book Award Finalist

Congratulations to Books In Common featured author David Treuer, whose novel PRUDENCE has been named a 2016 Minnesota Book Award finalist. Finalists were selected by two dozen judges from around the state and winners will be announced a the Minnesota Book Awards gala on April 16, 2016.

David is already the recipient of a Pushcart Prize, the 1996 Minnesota Book Award, and fellowships from the NEH, Bush Foundation, and the Guggenheim Foundation. His complex novel PRUDENCE has received critical acclaim since its publication last year and we have our fingers crossed that it will earn David another Minnesota Book Award this year.
