The wait is over! Since Garth Stein’s touching novel The Art of Racing in the Rain was first published in 2008, its canine narrator Enzo has captured hearts around the world. More than four million copies of The Art of Racing in the Rain have sold globally, and now Enzo – along with the author who created him – has a diverse multi-generational following. Enzo’s popularity reached new heights when a Young Adult version of the book, Racing in the Rain: My Life as a Dog, was published in 2011 and last week the third iteration of Stein’s contemporary classic was revealed.
On October 7th, while Stein was on tour promoting his newest novel A Sudden Light, Enzo debuted as the hilarious and wise narrator of a children’s book called Enzo Races in the Rain. This Enzo book features the narrative voice that we all know and love as well as masterfully rendered illustrations by R.W. Alley. Enzo is primed to make his newest, youngest generation of fans!
