At the First-Year Experience Conference in Dallas last weekend, Books In Common’s Director Christie Hinrichs and Account Managers Danielle MacBain and Andy Wade connected with administrators, educators, publishers, and authors from all across North America. This diverse group of conference attendees share a common mission: to improve their students’ education and common understanding through high-quality first-year common read programs.

This was Books In Common’s first year attending the FYE conference, which also served as our coming-out party of sorts: we recently made the formal transition to nonprofit status! In addition to the incredible networking that came out of this event, #FYE2015 helped kick off what should be a very exciting year for Books In Common!
