Corban Addison, author of ‘A Walk Across the Sun’

Author Corban Addison brought together three great passions to write A Walk Across the Sun: fiction storytelling, human rights, and traveling among the world’s different culture.

A Walk Across the Sun is the culmination of his research—both in the field and among human rights organizations—into modern, international slavery. It focuses on two sisters sold into slavery in Mumbai’s brothels, a young lawyer in crisis determines to help end sex-trafficking. Addison traveled in Europe and in India, only to find that human trafficking is an issue for every country, including the United States. With a guide, he saw first-hand the girls forced into prostitution and enslaved there.
