The border debate is escalating as the influx of children entering the U.S from Central America is increasing. Sonia Nazario, author of Enrique’s Journey, was recently on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. She discusses how the situation of children coming into the U.S. from Central America are not coming over the border for economic improvement, but to “flee for their lives.” She goes on to say, “we need to see these children as a refugee issue, not as an immigration issue.”
