Koethi Zan’s The Never List featured in the Wall Street Journal

KZ and bookCalling it a “thoroughly enjoyable nail biter,” The Wall Street Journal  recently featured Koethi Zan’s The Never List.  “I’m very interested in trauma and recovery,” Koethi said, “The main animating force for this book is that I wanted a crime thriller that was also a trauma-recovery memoir. The mystery that [Sarah] had to solve was the mystery of her own survival.” Koethi admitted to being inspired by the stories of captivity survivors. “I felt trapped growing up,” Koethi said in the interview, “The Never List was an extreme version of a kind of captivity I felt in my youth.”
