Karen Joy Fowler Accepts PEN/Faulkner Award

KFBookOn Saturday, Karen Joy Fowler accepted the 2014 PEN/Faulkner Prize for, We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves. The award recognizes the best fiction published by an American author in the previous year.

The 2014 panel of judges selected, We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves, from a field of 430+ novels and short story collections. We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves, is also nominated for the 2014 Nebula award, which will be awarded this weekend.

Karen Joy Fowler is also the author of the New York Times bestselling novel, The Jane Austen Book Club, which was adapted into a 2007 film starring Maria Bello, Emily Blunt, and Kathy Baker.
