Young Adult fiction have gained tremendous popularity with blockbuster movies and bestseller lists, but not necessarily for the quality of literature. Breaking the Young Adult mold, Anton DiSclafani’s debut novel, The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls, has been gaining praise for it’s quality of writing and depth of story. The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls is about a spirited 15-year-old girl sent to an equestrienne boarding school bringing with her a secret.

Not only does the novel have themes from teenager angst and romance but it discusses social classes, historical elements from the Depression and life in the equestrian world. To read a review of The Yonohlossee Riding Camp for Girls, click HERE.
