Andrew McCarthy and The Longest Way Home Impress Cheyenne

Andrew McCarthy

New York Times bestselling author Andrew McCarthy

This April, New York Times bestselling author Andrew McCarthy visited the Laramie Public Library (Cheyenne, WY) to speak about his memoir, The Longest Way Home.

Says Laurel Shelley-Reuss, the organizer: “Andrew was fantastic, I received so many compliments from our patrons about him after the event and they all wanted him to come back in the future if he decides to write another book!  We had 210 people attend, which is a big crowd for us and our room was absolutely packed.  I had many people remark on his storytelling, and he was very fun and engaging for our patrons, they laughed a lot.  All in all, I thought that the event was a huge success for us and we were very happy with Andrew.”
