Edward Gutierrez
            EDWARD A. GUTIÉRREZ, military historian, is a lecturer at Northeastern 
University and has taught a variety of courses on history, culture, and 
warfare. His first book, Doughboys on the Great War: How American Soldiers Viewed Their Military Service, received high praise by renowned scholar, Dr. Andrew Roberts in his Wall Street Journal book review. He obtained his PhD in military history from the Ohio State University under the direction of Professor Geoffrey Parker and conducted postdoctoral research at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique (CNRS) in Paris, France. He has received teaching awards, fellowships, and a Harry Frank Guggenheim research grant.
