Graciela Tiscare�o-Sato is a bilingual sought-after speaker and President of Gracefully Global Group LLC, the premiere, award-winning publishing & marketing firm for Latino innovation,entrepreneurship & leadership stories. She's the bestselling author of 5-time, award-winning book Latinnovating: Green American Jobs and the Latinos Creating Them, the 1st volume (of planned series) showcasing Latino-led innovation in the green economy. After launch, Latinnovating picked up Best Business Book honors and others at the International Latino Book Awards. It represents the convergence of Ms. Tiscare�o-Sato�s corporate sustainability experience, entrepreneurial drive & her ongoing goal to spotlight stereotype-busting stories of leadership from the Latino community.
Graciela speaks at universities, business schools, industry conferences, corporate ERG meetings/webinars, educational conferences, K-12 literacy & career events. Graciela is a graduate of the School of Environmental Design at U.C. Berkeley, a former military officer & aviator & an active mentor to Latino youth. She earned her graduate degree in international management & marketing while flying on U.S. Air Force KC-135 refueling jets.
Graciela has published & served as keynote speaker in the U.S. & Europe. She's been quoted in the New York Times, interviewed on NPR, CNN, NBC & other national media. She contributes to the Huffington Post. In 2014, The White House named her a "Champion of Change" with 9 other Women Military Veteran Leaders.
Graciela's children's picture book series starring the children of Captain Mama is the 1st-ever such bilingual series teaching young children why mommies wear military uniforms; the first book was honored as �Best Educational Children�s Book � Bilingual� at the 2014 International Latino Books Awards. The Military Writers Society of America & "Writer's Digest" magazine also bestowed literary awards on this innovative work that reminds Americans that women & Latinas are veterans too!
The 2nd title in series was honored as "Most Inspirational Children�s Book-Bilingual� at the 2016 ILBA.
