Peter Laufer

Independent journalist, broadcaster, writer, and documentary filmmaker Peter Laufer worked as an international correspondant for NBC, a position which introduced him to a wide range of crucial social issues. Among his published books are The Question of Consent, Inside Talk Radio, Nightmare Abroad, Made in Mexico, No Animals Were Harmed, and The Dangerous World of Butterflies. Laufer currently holds the James Wallace Chair in Journalism at the University of Oregon.
