David Marin

As a single parent, David Marin – a pale male – adopted three Hispanic siblings abandoned by felons and shuffled among foster homes in Santa Barbara, California. His book, This is US – The New All-American Family, was excerpted in Reader’s Digest worldwide: 17 million copies in 21 languages. His children, ages two, four and six when David met them, are now healthy, happy teenagers.
