Anton DiSclafani

Originally from northern Florida, where she rode horses and competed nationally, Anton graduated from Emory University and received her MFA from Washington University.  Anton’s debut novel, whose young protagonist is banished to a horse camp high in the Blue Ridge Mountains in the midst of the Great Depression, grapples with the sometimes bumpy ride to adulthood. Anton lives in St. Louis, where she teaches creative writing.
