Corban Addison

Corban Addison is the author of A Walk Across the Sun, a novel that brings together his greatest passions--storytelling, human rights, and the world and its culture. In 2008, Addison began to write his first novel, despite a fledgling legal practice and a growing family. His research took him to India, Africa, and eventually to the corridors of power in Washington DC as he immersed himself in the world of modern day slavery. In a narrative that enlightens as it entertains, A Walk Across the Sun was written to broaden support if international justice causes and to the abolition of modern slavery. His next novel, out in May 2014, is titled The Garden of Burning Sands, and follows a Zambian girl so traumatized by a mysterious assault she suffers complete memory loss, and the human rights activist who takes up her case. Addison lives with his family in Virginia.
